Rock icons KISS announced their 2016 Summer American “Freedom To Rock”Tour. The tour will be making a stop at Portland’s Cross Insurance Arena on Sunday, Sept. 4. Tickets for the KISS “Freedom to Rock” show in Portland will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday April 15 and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com or at the Cross Insurance Arena box office.

Opening for KISS will be American Idol season 13 winner Caleb Johnson, and rock band the Dead Daises.
KISS need no introduction — they are known worldwide for its members’ face paint and stage outfits. The group rose to prominence in the mid-to-late 1970s with their elaborate live performances — which featured fire breathing, blood-spitting, smoking guitars, shooting rockets, levitating drum kits, and pyrotechnics. Though the band originally featured Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, currently only Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are the original members still playing with the band.
