Darius Rucker announced for Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in July

Waterfront Concerts announced the third artist on the Country Megaticket lineup for this summer, with Darius Rucker set to perform on Friday, July 29 at the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion. This show is the third installment of many that will be announced in the coming weeks as part of the Waterfront Concerts Megaticket, joining previously announced shows Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley. Rucker is a Grammy Award-winner for her work with Hootie and the Blowfish; in the past decade, he has transformed himself into a country star, known for his hits “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It,” “It Won’t Be Like This For Long” and “Alright.” He last performed in Bangor in 2013. The Good for a Good Time Tour will feature opening acts Dan + Shay, who are celebrating their first No. 1 single with “Nothin’ Like You” and rising country singer Michael Ray, who was the only new male country artist of 2015 to have a No. 1 single in 2015, with “Kiss You in the Morning.”
