Your ultimate guide to touring shows in Maine this summer: All genres, statewide

It’s never too early to start thinking about your summer plans. If you’re anything like me, they include at least a few — if not way too many — concerts. Lucky for you, I’ve put together a pretty exhaustive list of all the touring shows coming through the state this summer, in venues ranging from intimate places like the Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield or Port City Music Hall in Portland to the largest venue in Northern New England, the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor. Please bear in mind that this list focuses on touring shows — there are countless local shows too, of course, but I spend the entire rest of the year with this column focusing on those, so let’s shine the spotlight on those bigger, national names coming through. Tickets for all these shows can be purchased via Ticketmaster, unless otherwise noted. I’ll also update this list a little later on in the summer, as more shows in July and August will likely be announced in the coming weeks. Happy rocking in 2015, guys! (Note: Updated May 19).
