Country icon Reba McEntire will return to the Bangor Waterfront for a late summer show at the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion on Friday, Aug. 21. Tickets for the concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 8 via Ticketmaster, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or in person at Mark’s Music in Brewer. They are priced at between $29.75 and $89.75.

McEntire, who performed on the Bangor Waterfront in Sept. 2011, is a country music legend, who just released her first album in five years in April 2015, titled “Love Somebody,” which includes her hit first single “Going Out Like That.” “Love Somebody” is McEntire’s 27th studio album after her 1977 debut. Known for her countless hits and many multi-platinum albums, McEntire is rightfully known as the “Queen of Country.”
