Eric Church, acclaimed country singer songwriter, will play a concert at the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion on Thursday, July 9; tickets for the concert, priced between $25.75 and $74.75, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10 via Ticketmaster or in person at Mark’s Music in Brewer. Opening for Church will be alt-country artist The Lone Bellow.

Eric Church is known for his blend of country, rock, blues and even a little bit of heavy metal, defying the expectations of country radio with songs like “The Outsiders,” off his new album of the same name, and even writing his own songs. “The Outsiders” was the best-selling country album of 2014 and even found its way into the year-end best of lists of non-country publications like Rolling Stone and Spin. His previous albums, including 2011’s “Chief” and 2009’s “Carolina” set him up as a standard bearer for outlaw country, before adding even more rock elements into his sound with “The Outsiders.”

Church joins other country artists at the Waterfront including Lady Antebellum June 4, the Zac Brown Band June 7 and Kenny Chesney on Aug. 13. For more concert announcements, check waterfrontconcerts.com.
