Comedian Daniel Tosh, host of the Comedy Central series “Tosh.0” and a stand-up comedy favorite, will perform in Maine twice this summer, with two shows set for Tuesday, June 9 at the Collins Center for the Arts in Orono, and Saturday, June 13 at Merrill Auditorium in Portland. Tickets for the Orono show are priced between $53.50 and $73.50 and are available via Ticketmaster outlets or at the Waterfront Concerts box office at Mark’s Music in Brewer, while tickets for the Portland show are priced between $61.50 and $71.50 and are available via porttix.com or at the Merrill box office. Tickets for both shows are also available via waterfrontconcerts.com.
“Tosh.0” will begin its seventh season at 10 p.m. Tuesday, February 17 on Comedy Central. The series features razor-sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh, and delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the amazing. Tosh made a name for himself as a stand-up comic, however, making his debut on David Letterman in 2001 and becoming a regular feature on TV until “Tosh.0” started in 2009.
