Alan Jackson to bring ‘Keepin’ It Country’ tour to Cross Insurance Arena in Portland Jan. 24

Alan-Jackson-PR-imageAlan Jackson, who last appeared in Maine in September 2010 on the Bangor Waterfront, will make a stop on his “Keepin’ It Country” tour at the Cross Insurance Arena (formerly the Cumberland County Civic Center) in Portland on Saturday, Jan. 24, in a Waterfront Concerts show. Tickets for the January show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 via Ticketmaster, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or visiting the Cross Insurance Arena.

Jackson’s “Keepin’ It Country” tour is a 25th anniversary celebration for the country singer and guitarist, known for such mega hits as “Chattahoochee,” “Here In The Real World” and “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere.” Jackson is in the Country Music Hall of Fame, has sold nearly 60 million records worldwide, and is also a respected Nashville singer-songwriter, having written more than 20 top ten hits for other artists.

Opening for Jackson on his Portland date will be rising country star Jon Pardi, known for his song “Up All Night,” and Grammy-nominated acclaimed country singer and songwriter Brandy Clark. For more information on all Waterfront Concerts, visit waterfrontconcerts.com.
