Godsmack’s Sully Erna to play solo show at Gracie Theatre at Husson University

378_1sully_white_shirtWaterfront Concerts and the Gracie Theatre at Husson University have partnered to bring Godsmack lead singer Sully Erna to its stage, in an intimate concert set for Friday, Dec. 12. Tickets for the concert go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 via Ticketmaster, at Mark’s Music in Brewer or by calling 1-800-745-3000. A VIP meet and greet will also be available to purchase. Prices range from $42 to $102.

Sully Erna’s debut solo album “Avalon” features an array of eclectic compositions that differ wildly from his work with the multi-platinum Godsmack. The album took him over two years to compose, record and finally release, utilizing the hypnotic sounds of tribal rhythms, melodic pianos and cellos, and haunting vocals. “Avalon” also features the accompanying vocals of Lisa Guyer, as well as the hand percussion of Niall Gregory from Dead Can Dance. With the Boston born and bred Godsmack, Erna has sold more than 15 million albums.
