Boz Scaggs, moe., among fall concerts announced for Collins Center for the Arts

boz_scaggs_4The Collins Center for the Arts has teamed up with the Waterfront Concerts once already for a concert this fall — comedian Kevin James is set for a Tuesday, Oct. 14 performance. Monday morning both organizations announced a second event, also set for this fall, when singer-songwriter Boz Scaggs (pictured at left) comes to town on his soul and r&b-centric Memphis Tour, with a show set for Thursday, Oct. 16. Boz Scaggs joins two Collins Center for the Arts-promoted concerts set for this fall, including popular jam band moe., who will make their first Maine appearance since a New Year’s Eve show in Portland in 2012. moe. is set for a concert on Friday, Sept. 12, right at the beginning of the fall semester for the University of Maine. Tickets for the moe. concert are $28 to $33 and are available via the Collins Center box office or by calling 581-1755.

Finally, the Collins Center for the Arts will bring the swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy to the stage on Saturday, Sept. 20. Tickets are $28-$43 and are available via the Collins Center box office or by calling 581-1755.
