WWE ready to rumble at Cross Insurance Center June 28

john cenaFor the first time in more than two years, World Wrestling Entertainment will pay a visit to the Queen City, when the pro wrestling organization heads to the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Saturday, June 28. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show, which started at $19, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10 via Ticketmaster. Groups of 10 or more will save $5 per ticket on select seating; call Chris McGrail, Groups and Premium Services Manager, at 207-561-8311 for more information.

Some of the WWE superstars expected to be there include John Cena, Bray Wyatt, Big E, The Rhodes Brothers, and the WWE Divas. The last time a WWE match hit Bangor, it was March 2012 and it was at the former Bangor Auditorium, where Cena was also in attendance. 

WWE, also known as World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. is an American entertainment company that deals primarily in professional wrestling, with major revenue sources also coming from film, music, product licensing and direct product sales. “WWE” also refers to the professional wrestling promotion itself, founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1952, and, as of 2014, the largest in the world, holding about 320 house shows a year and broadcasting to about 36 million viewers in more than 150 countries.
