Three Doors Down set for acoustic show at Maine State Pier in Portland

3-doors-down-0Waterfront Concerts announced on Monday morning that Mississippi rock band Three Doors Down will perform a special acoustic show on their “Songs From the Basement” tour at the Maine State Pier in Portland on Sunday, Aug. 3. Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 18, via Ticketmaster and other Waterfront Concert outlets.

The “Songs From the Basement” tour will feature hits from the modern rock five piece, including their breakthrough 2000 single “Kryptonite,” “When I’m Gone” and “Here Without You,” as well as deep cuts from their five albums. Limited VIP tickets featuring on stage seating will be made available offering the rare chance to “sit in the basement with the band” in this intimate, live setting. The band has sold 16 million albums worldwide and has received three Grammy nominations.
