Country artist Hunter Hayes set for Cross Insurance Center Thursday, May 1

hunter-hayes01-ab1e13d736578284969cbc8aa486a991ac1e937b-s6-c30Global Spectrum, the company that books events at the Cross Insurance Center, announced on Monday that popular country singer Hunter Hayes, with special guests Danielle Bradbery (winner of season four of “The Voice”) and country duo Dan & Shay, will take the stage at the Bangor arena on Thursday, May 1. Tickets start at $35 and are available starting at 10 a.m. this Friday, Feb. 14 at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, or in person at the Cross Insurance Center box office.

The “We’re Not Invisible” tour is presented in part by the charity Child Hunger Ends Here.  For every download of Hunter Hayes’ new single “Invisible” on iTunes, Child Hunger Ends Here will donate the monetary equivalent of one meal to Feeding America, donating up to one million meals.

Four-time Grammy nominated artist Hunter Hayes is a multi-talented performer and writer. His self-titled debut album had three number one singles, selling over eight million singles to date while the album itself has been certified platinum. His current Grammy nomination for Best Country Solo Performance for his single “I Want Crazy” marks his fourth Grammy nomination off his debut release. Hunter is currently featured as one of Forbes Magazine’s “30 Under 30” and has played over 500 dates since 2011. The Louisiana native has headlined venues across the US and Canada and recently wrapped the sold out CMT On Tour: Hunter Hayes’ Let’s Be Crazy tour this past fall.

17-year-old Danielle Bradbery was first seen on season four of NBC’s “The Voice,” where she won the competition under the coaching of country star Blake Shelton. Nashville-based duo Dan & Shay have a hit single currently on the country charts with “19 You + Me,” and a full-length debut album is expected to be released in 2014.
