Blue Man Group picks up blue butterflies from Bangor’s Rock & Art Shop

Blue Man Group member Russell Rinker, who was part of the touring Blue Man Group show that visited the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor earlier this month, stopped into The Rock & Art Shop in downtown Bangor before the show with some of his cast mates and picked up some gifts. The Rock & Art Shop, located at 36 Central St. and operated the members of the Sohns family, sells rocks, minerals, natural history artifacts, jewelry, home goods, art and more. Co-owner Tony Sohns sold three mounted blue morpho butterflies in frames to Rinker and company. Three members of the group posed with the butterflies and posted it to Facebook on Wednesday.

Rinker added a caption to the photo: “The Blue Man Group North American Tour recently played Bangor, Maine. We picked up these little blue beauties from The Rock & Art Shop. Such a great store!”
