“Duck Dynasty” star Martin to appear at Maine Sportsmen’s Night

Justin Martin, one of the many stars of the wildly popular A&E reality show “Duck Dynasty,” will appear on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Mt. View High School in Thorndike at the annual Maine Sportsmen’s Night. Tickets to the event are $16 and are available online at brownpapertickets.com. Doors open at 1 p.m., and there will also be seminars on duck and deer hunting, giveaways, a talk by retired game warden John Ford, and appearances by wardens from the Maine-based reality show “North Woods Law.”

The fourth season of “Duck Dynasty” premiered on Aug. 14 with 11.8 million viewers, making it the most-watched nonfiction cable TV broadcast of all time. It tells the story of the Robertson family, who became wealthy from their business, Duck Commander, which makes products for duck hunters, including duck callers. Justin Martin, often referred to simply as ‘Martin,’ is one of several luxuriously bearded employees of Duck Commander, who is often given a hard time by the Robertson brothers and other employees for his large size. He is usually found working, or at the sit-down dinner that occurs at the end of every episode. “Duck Dynasty” airs at 10 p.m. on Wednesdays on the A&E network.
