Mallett Brothers band to open for Toby Keith on Bangor Waterfront

For the second year in a row, Maine’s own Mallett Brothers Band will open for a country music superstar on the Bangor Waterfront. The Malletts, led by the brothers Will and Luke Mallett, will open for Toby Keith at his show at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion on Monday, Sept. 2. Tickets are currently on sale.

The Mallett Brothers Band were formed in 2010, with Will and Luke Mallett, sons of acclaimed Maine songwriter David Mallett, as primary songwriters. The band is rounded out by Nick Leen, Nate Soule, Wally Wenzel and Brian Higgins. They have released two albums, a self-titled debut in 2010 and “Low Down” on 2011, and are set to released a third album, “Land,” in just a few weeks. Last summer, the band opened for Jason Aldean at his sold out summer waterfront concert.

Tickets went on sale on Friday, March 29. Prices are $37.75 for lawn and $51.75, $71.75, $91.75 and $101.75 for reserved seating. There are also a limited number of two-for-$44 Hell Raiser seats and $92.75 general admission pit seats between the front of the stage and the “thrust” — the front of the first row of reserved seats — of the T-shaped walkway and small stage projecting from the main stage.
