Though fans of the reality TV show “The Bachelorette” will have to wait until Dec. 16 to see the televised version of it, it’s official: season seven “Bachelorette” and Madawaska native Ashley Hebert has married her fiance, J.P. Rosenbaum. The couple were wed in a ceremony in Pasadena, CA, on Saturday.
Hebert is one of a select few “Bachelorettes” and “Bachelors” to actually take the plunge; most of the couples created from the ABC reality shows have not weathered the storm. Hebert, a dentist, first vied for Brad Womack’s heart on “The Bachelor.” She then met Rosenbaum, a 35-year-old construction manager, on the seventh season of “The Bachelorette.” They got engaged during the show’s finale.
Hebert wore a long, strapless wedding dress, and walked down the aisle to a piano rendition of “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.” Hebert’s maid of honor was her sister, Chrystie Corns, and a bridesmaid was fellow “Bachelor” contestant Ashley Spivey. Groomsmen were Rosenbaum’s brother and Ashley’s brother. The wedding will be televised as a two-hour special set for Monday, Dec. 16 on ABC.
