Country Throwdown set for Waterfront Concerts stage in May with headliner Gary Allan

Waterfront Concerts announced Monday that the All Day Country Throwdown Tour featuring Gary Allan, Justin Moore, Josh Thompson, Sunny Sweeney and more, including special local guests, will come to Bangor at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 27.
Allan (pictured at left) has sold more than 7 million albums and released five platinum and gold albums in a row, including two that topped the Billboard Country Albums Chart.  He also topped the charts with four No. 1 hits at country radio and has nearly a dozen Top 10 hits to his credit.  Justin Moore has released two albums and scored hits with the songs “Small Town USA” and “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away.” Josh Thompson’s song “Beer on the Table” from his album “Way Out Here” was a top ten country hit in 2009. Sunny Sweeney’s song “From a Table Away” was a hit in 2010, and she was last seen in Bangor opening for Lady Antebellum on the Waterfront Concert stage in September 2011.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon, Friday, Feb. 10, online at  waterfrontconcerts.com, at Mark’s Music in Brewer and at all Ticketmaster outlets. Prices are $52.25, $42.25, and $32.25 for reserved seating and $22.25 for lawn seats, plus any applicable fees depending on where tickets are purchased.
